My Marketing Tech Stack

In my career, I’ve worked with a lot of tools and technology for online marketing, business process improvement, sales, CRMs, website building, ecommerce, affliliate programs, etc…

The list below is a work in progress of the tools I most use TODAY and those I’ve used in the past.  It’s as much for me (so I can look to simplify the list) as it is for you reading this.

If you see something you like, are struggling with, or have a question on, then reach out!  If you have suggestions for something different or new, I’d love to hear that too.

Hope this list serves you well.

Website Speed Testing, Troubleshooting & Optimization Tools – analyze website page loading speed and get recommendations on how to fix.

Why No Padlock? – are you pulling your hair out trying to find out why your secure page is not fully secure? Here’s a simple tool that will tell you about any insecure items on your SSL page.

WordPress Plugins

These are a collection of tools I like to use on many of the WordPress websites I build.

Elementor – simple and powerful web page builder. Makes building beautiful webpages easier.  Free version is great.  All my clients benefit from the Pro paid version as it offers more functionality.

Gutenberg – new changes coming that could make it simple, fast, and free for most users

Astra Theme – all websites start with a theme and this one is lightweight and fast so I use it as the starting point for most new websites.  The free version is great for most simple sites. All my clients benefit from the Pro paid version as it offers more functionality.

Blog2Social – Social Media Auto-Posting and Scheduling Plugin for WordPress Sites and Blogs.

Erident Custom Login and Dashboard – Customize completely your WordPress Login Screen and Dashboard easily.

Insert Headers and Footers – simple plugin that lets you insert code like Google Analytics, custom CSS, Facebook Pixel, and more to your WordPress site header and footer. No need to edit your theme files.

Loginizer – helps you fight against bruteforce attacks by blocking login for the IP after it reaches maximum retries allowed.

ManageWP – dashboard that helps you save time and nerves by automating your workflow, so you could focus on things that matter. It is fast, secure and free for an unlimited number of websites.

Piotnet Addons For Elementor Pro – adds many new features for Elementor

Really Simple SSL – Really Simple SSL automatically detects your settings and configures your website to run over https.

Redirection –

Schema Pro –

Ultimate Addons for Elementor –

UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore –

WooCommerce –

WooCommerce Admin –

WooCommer Stripe Gateway –

WP Fastest Cache –

Yoast Duplicate Post – Clone posts and pages.

Yoast SEO – the #1 WordPress SEO plugin helps you with your search engine optimization.

Email Marketing

Mailchimp – email marketing. Free up to 2000 contacts. Integrates with just about everything.  Great when you’re just starting out and just need something quick to setup but dependable.

GetResponse – email marketing. Better than MailChimp (for the price) if you want to add automation and business rules.

Hubspot – HubSpot offers a full software platform to help you grow better — whether you want to increase leads, accelerate sales, simplify your processes, or build a powerful website. They’re powerful alone, but even better when used together. Free version is powerful as a CRM but gets very expensive really fast.

Images & Social Media

Canva – Canva makes design and video editing amazingly simple (and fun)!

Squoosh – Squoosh is an image compression web app. It packs various image processing settings into a refreshingly accessible, free-to-use application that runs in your browser window, allowing you to preview the effects of different compression actions in real-time.  Making the file size of your images smaller helps your web pages load faster and translates into a better experience for your visitors.

Envato – Discover ideas, trends, and tools to inspire your creative projects.
